We’re looking for someone who can run the show at our Sanur Surf Shack – a cozy little spot serving up great coffee, fresh drinks, and easy snacks, all while helping surfers and beach lovers find the right gear. You’ll be making coffee, managing inventory, and making sure every customer walks away happy, whether they’re grabbing a flat white or a fresh bar of surf wax.

What you’ll be doing:

☕ Barista duties: Making top-notch coffee and drinks (or learning how to).

🥐 Serving snacks: Quick, easy, and no cooking involved.

🏄‍♀️ Helping customers in the small surf shop: you’ll help them find what they need.

📦 Managing inventory: Keeping track of stock, ordering supplies, and making sure we never run out of essentials.

✨ Customer experience: Create a welcoming space, the kind where people want to hang out.

🧹 Keeping things tidy: A clean shop = good vibes.

Who You Are:

✔ Minimum SMA/SMK

✔ Indonesian citizen, preferably based in Denpasar, Bali

✔ At least 3 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or a coffee shop

✔ Fluent in English

✔ Available full-time (shifting schedule applies)

✔ You’re very organized, can multitask, and manage time effectively without breaking a sweat

✔ Strong communication skills; you enjoy chatting with customers and helping them out

✔ Honest, responsible, and great with people

✔ Comfortable using gadgets to manage stock and orders

✔ You love the ocean – whether you surf, swim, or just enjoy the beach

✔ Bonus: You already know your way around a coffee machine, are passionate about surf culture, or both

No barista experience? No problem. We provide full barista training if you’re eager to learn. You’ll get hands-on training from experienced baristas so you can confidently whip up espressos, and maybe even get your latte art game on point.

New to surfing? You’ll get a couple of surf lessons on the house to get a feel for the waves.

• Have trouble communicating clearly and directly with different teams and partners
• Can’t take constructive feedback and use it to improve your work and processes
• Don’t have the ability to work independently without constant direction
• Aren’t looking for a long-term position
• Aren’t based in Denpasar, Bali (or not willing to move)
